The use of cases in teacher education is accepted as a promising instructional method for creating authentic learning environments (Koury et al., 2009; Levin, 2001; Lundeberg, Levin, & Harrington, 1999). Case-based pedagogy emulates real classroom environments, and thus enables students to think like teachers (Shulman, 1992).
