Why is Tokyo Drift not appreciated enough. Most people regard TD as one of the least best from the franchise. In my opinion, I would rank it above Fast 4 and 6-9. It has the racing concept that the franchise has lost. The best thing about the movie is it explores Japan's racing world, where is considered as the pinnacle of street racing. Sort by:

Out of all the F&F movies, Tokyo Drift is the purist racing film. This right here. Tokyo Drift focused on the cars and racing, all the other films were just heist films with a racing premise. And as the movies has progressed, the racing premise has gone out the window.
Tokyo Drift is in a leage of its own. Because it has none of the main characters out of the rest of tbe franchise. The never should have called it Fast an Furious and the cameo of Vin Diesel is not realy adding anything. In Franchise term I still think 1 is the best. But as a standalone Tokyo Drift is better.
