As a Chicago turo and Getaround host myself, I would say it depends on a lot of factors however the most important is your location and the type of car. Anything around 5 miles of the Ohare radius would do much better than other places as most of Turo's guests are travelers compared to a ride share like GetAround where most are local commuters.
Turo does a good job at hosting a software that provides affordable options and unique experiences. Always use Turo for rental cars. The only thing you should note is that every host has a different policy for pickup and drop off.
