On-campus work is allowed for students in valid F-1 or J-1 status. During the academic term, students are limited to 20 hours per week and can work full-time during vacation and breaks. Off-campus work authorization is not allowed for the first 9 months of holding F-1 status. Off-campus employment options should be discussed with ISSS.
Integrated Masters Programs (IMP) provide comprehensive support and services in the first term of select graduate programs. IMP students are full degree-seeking students who are issued a Direct Entry I-20. To qualify for IMP, applicants must meet the English language requirements for direct entry and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
