Welcome to UCC. I graduated last year and very much enjoyed my time there. Its a big medical school and covers the city hospitals and peripheral hospitals in the South West of Ireland. The first 1.5 years for graduate entry and 2.5 years for undergraduate entry are mostly grounded in classroom teaching / tutorials / occasional placement.
