I had four AWESOME jobs, which paid decently and look awesome on a resume. I was a humanities student, so having work experience upon graduation was really important.

  3. If you want prestige, go to it. You will get a job with a UBC degree, just know that it costs a lot more. SFU is highly ranked in Canada but not UBC level. They are really good. If you want prestige but want to save money, they are the better choice because they have BCIT/UVic tuition levels with good prestige. UVic isn't bad, but it's average.

  4. Depending on how many hours you need and how flexible you can be, I found working as a casual on campus is pretty good. The ones I’ve worked for have been the best when it comes to working around my class schedule. But the downside is the hours can be pretty variable so if you NEED a job to pay for essentials, might not be the best option.
