UVic is a good school. Maybe great. Maybe. If you like nature it's amazing. The school is surrounded by flora and fauna, with the ocean just a few minutes away. Victoria itself is a tourist and a tech city, so make of that what you will. Lots of organic food, cheap food, and varieties of food, especially in Saanich (where UVic is mainly located).
Hi, I have received some conflicting advice on when exactly to seek out off-campus housing for the September 2021 school year. Ideally, I would like to move in around August/September. Some people have told me I need to look for a place now, as the market gets too competitive in August, but that seems to mean moving in around May/June.

UVic does have lots of clubs, though, and I’m sure you could find something that you enjoy if you look for it.
