UVic is a good school. Maybe great. Maybe. If you like nature it's amazing. The school is surrounded by flora and fauna, with the ocean just a few minutes away. Victoria itself is a tourist and a tech city, so make of that what you will. Lots of organic food, cheap food, and varieties of food, especially in Saanich (where UVic is mainly located).

Pros: Small school in a wonderful city. Beach is nearby, weather is just about the best in Canada, and the city is large enough to have all the amenities you might want while small enough that you can get around reasonably. Bus system is pretty good here compared to many other cities. And there is so much nature!

Studying at UVIC has been a fantastic experience! The learning system here is top-notch and easy to understand, everyone is super helpful and nice.The professors are amazing and always willing to help when you need it. The campus is in a great location, and the university really cares about its students.
