   Maybe . If you like nature it's amazing. The school is surrounded by flora and fauna, with the ocean just a few minutes away. Victoria itself is a tourist and a tech city, so make of that what you will. Lots of organic food, cheap food, and varieties of food, especially in Saanich (where UVic is mainly located).
