   It depends on what you watch. If you are a big fan of live sports YTTV is one of the better options. Though with the COVID-19 virus cancelling so many sports (basically all of them at this point). You might want to hold off on YTTV until those sports resume.

   • YTTV isn't perfect, but overall I like it. Your cons are mostly the same as other services. No deletion of shows: It's an unlimited DVR. It tracks what you watch. It's great for when I want to binge The Office, for instance, because I know all the episodes have been recorded and still there.

   What if yttv was $50 without sports channels?

   • A $10-15 reduction in price would make YTTV much more competitive. But if YTTV was $50 without sports channels it would be a lousy value. Someone could just get Hulu and Peacock and Paramount+ for less and have many more options. The sports channels are driving a much larger share of the YTTV price.

   • So if you want to use your whole screen, it goes full, but if you want to do half your monitor with YoutubeTV and then work on the other half, just snap the window or drag to cover half the monitor. It will then adjust the display on the web platform. It can go as small as 4.5" in width which is about the size of watching a video on a cell phone.

   Are NBC Sports RSNs still on YouTube TV?

   • Only the NBC Sports RSNs remain on YouTube TV. All other RSNs have been dropped. Not for everyone. The overall experience is incomparable to typical cable. I can pull up any channel I subscribe to on my phone or Ipad or whatever device is most convenient. When I'm on the road and traveling, my tv subscription follows me too.

   • Constant losing channels too, you use to be able to watch Boston Red Sox games and that was lost. Now its currently losing NY Mets games. They lost more channels too, but forget what they were, I mostly just watch sports and listen to sports radio shows :)

   It was my go-to for live TV for a few years, but the price got out of hand. I use Sling since it's way cheaper when I need TV. Mostly, I just watch free streamers during the day (Pluto TV, Haystack News, Tubi) and premium streamers at night (Netflix, Hulu).
