It‘s fun and the execute on jungle monsters is insane as well as the clear. If you have fun with it it‘s worth playing it. I think zed jungle is decent. Good clear speed, strong 1v1s and lots of damage on dragon/herald/baron when the passive starts kicking in as they get low.
Zed gets shit on by pretty much all meta junglers and really isn't a good ganker pre-6. His only strength is farming, which doesn't really matter too much when ganking is so prevalent. So you need to know when to farm, when to gank, how to path and you don't have leeway when it comes to comboing, either you land everything and do some damage in the gank, or you miss everything and are useless.
The most important thing about Zed jungle though, is actually knowing Zed's combos. This is not a champ you can just play randomly and do well on. I highly recommend watching a few basic combo videos. Zed99 has one from like 2020 that has English subtitles on it. All the item builds in that video are wrong now, but the combos haven't changed.
