Dec 4, 2022 · Each and every team has strengths and weaknesses, what separates a good team from a bad team is a mixture of versatility, bulk, consistency and how it deals with the current meta. To the untrained eye, a team consisting of a Fire , Water and Grass type Pokémon may seem like a good idea since you can cover most typing, however in most cases, you’d be wrong and here’s why.

Oct 13, 2019 · Unlike for Pokémon that are used in Raids and Gym battles, where a 100% IV Pokemon (15 Attack, 15 Defense, and 15 Stamina) is the way to go, Great League PvP demands a different combination of IVs for a Pokémon to reach its maximum potential. For Pokémon that max out at or just under 1500 CP, a 100% IV of its kind is still the way to go.
- Galarian Stunfisk. Galarian Stunfisk is my personal favourite Pokemon for the Great League. With the right moveset, it can dish out Charged Moves at an incredible rate, while its unique Ground/Steel-typing gives it a whopping 10 type resistances.
- Registeel. If you've got a Registeel under 1500 CP, you should absolutely be using it in the Great League. This Legendary titan has impressive bulk and a massive 11 resistances - yes, you read that right.
- Swampert. Swampert is a champion in both the Great League and the Ultra League, so it's a good idea to have one prepared for each league. I've had a lot of luck with Swampert on my team, largely due to the fact that it only has one weakness (watch out for Grass-type attacks!)
