  4. When John Kemeny (1925–2012) moved to Canada from Hungary in 1957 he began one of the longest and most successful producing careers in Canadian filmmaking. He joined the National Film Board, where he served for 12 years and produced over 80 films, including Memorandum, The Things I Cannot Change and The Newfoundland Project, the 27 films from Fogo Island directed by Colin Low.
