Returning to school, Barron received a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 1994, from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review. He was a law clerk for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 1994 to 1995 and for Justice John Paul Stevens of the United States Supreme Court from 1995 to 1996.
