The boys discover a mountain lion has been eating their dope crop and Bubbles adopts it, causing all sorts of problems in the park.

    Teaser

The boys, with Cory and Trevor in tow, patrol one of the pot fields after dark, investigating some trampled plants they can't explain. They arm themselves with potato guns and spread out to look for intruders. Cory and Trevor are attacked by an unknown 'something'.

    Act One

Cory and Lahey are covered with strange scratches and gashes and they take the wounded pair back to the park, after it becomes clear they can't continue to patrol the field. They get chewed out by Sarah and Ricky lies about what happened to them. Sarah refuses to let them work for Julian and Ricky ever again. The next morning ,they return to the field and search for clues. Bubbles finds a trail that they follow, convinced it's a 'samsquamch', but the trail leads to a stray mountain lion resting on a log.

    Act Two

Bubbles says he can handle the 'big kitty' because he's high from having eaten the weed and is therefore subdued and not dangerous. Eventually he decides to call him Steve French because of the "French-looking mustache" marks on his face, and takes him back to the park for some detox treatment. Julian says the whole idea is unsafe but Bubbles is determined to take care of him for a little while. The three of them tie Steve to the shed go off to make him some food comprised of Fajitas and a little weed. Seconds later, Steve escapes. Steve finds Randy barbequeing and steals all the burgers off the grill, while Randy stands still, stunned. Jim Lahey emerges when the lion leaves, and accuses Randy of eating the burgers. Julian arrives and Jim confronts him about a possible lion in the park. Julian says he will take care of it, but Jim sets off to find it himself. After they leave, Julian accidentally discovers that Randy has been spiking Lahey's burgers with Viagra. Bubbles finds Steve first and hides him in his shed. Lahey and Randy search the boys' stuff and Ricky yells at them and sends them away. Julian tells Ricky and Bubbles that Steve French is wearing a tracking tag that can be traced to them and to the pot crop. They need to take care of this problem right away. They decide to hide Steve French under J-Roc's trailer since he is still in jail. When they corral Steve under the trailer, J-Roc and his crew emerge in panic. J-Roc explains that he was sentenced to community service instead of a long incarceration, and has been hiding under his trailer ever since as his manager DVS didn't want this to hurt his 'rep' as a bad-ass. While all this is being revealed, Steve quietly escapes again. The lion happens upon Cory and Trevor. Steve becomes aroused by Trevor's leopard-print jacket, and chases him into Lahey's tent trailer. Trevor is apparently molested by him for a few moments before they both exit the tent and run away. Julian, Bubbles and Ricky arrive, and Lahey threatens to call the cops; Bubbles and Ricky chase after the animal, and Julian tells Jim he will spill the beans about the Viagra if he takes any drastic action regarding Steve. Jim gives him two hours to apprehend the lion before he calls the authorities.

"I'm a hell of a lot better father than you'll ever be." (to Bubbles) "We'll just take him and let him go free, just like a little test. And if he comes back, it forever was, just like the saying."

    Lahey's Shit Talk

"We know there's a fuckin' animal in here, Ricky. Tracks lead right to shit-town. What the fuck is going on?" "He who looks into the abyss realizes that there's nothing looking back at him, and the only thing he sees is his own character, Ricky. You understand? Bud? The Abyss? The shit-abyss." (This is a reference to the familiar Nietzche quote "He who looks into the abyss will find the abyss looks back at him.") "There's no fool like an old fool. A shitubus"
