Licu, a charismatic 27-year-old Bengali Muslim, is eager to find a bride. He has lived in Rome for three years, adapting quite well to the culture of the West, learning Italian and working in the fashion industry. Finally, word arrives from his family in Bangladesh--they have found him a girl....
Licu can get only four weeks of unpaid vacation to go to Bangladesh and organise his wedding with a complete stranger. But when he arrives, the negotiations between the families of the bride and the groom hit a snag.
