  7. The 2021 VIU STTP Cohort created a Bakwam Accord at the beginning of the program to set out their shared values. Entitled “’Namwayut – We Are All One,” the Accord emphasizes the importance of maya’xala (respect) for all living things and for each other, inside and out of the classroom. It describes their expectations of each other, and equally importantly, of themselves.
