The evening star = fire active at start of the hunt. Dawn of the .....(forgot) = ice active at start. Can help you survive atleast 1 nova if you can prepare properly. Run with Bright Resistance 3, stun resist 3 and HB 3. Since being blighted completely negates your elemental damage on it and does not add to the dps check.
Blazing black is the special assignment that introduces alatreon and it is non-repeatable. They always start in fire mode. The evening star and Dawn of the death star are the repeatable event quests that you use to farm for alatreon. It switches between the two quests daily. Alatreon always starts in fire for evening star and ice for death star.
For me: Probably Dawn of the Death star, but I personally like evening star more. I am also biased because I currently speedrun Evening star quite often. OP, safi fire weapons are actually fine for Alatreon. They aren't "the best" but they certainly can get the job done.
Aug 29, 2020 · Alatreon has 3 stars weakness of fire for ice start and the opposite. Both form has 1 star for dragon.2 stars weakness for water when it's on fire element, thunder on ice element, and dragon on dragon element. I don't think I'll have to explain, but the more star it has, the higher the elemental damage is given when attacking.
