Jul 22, 2021 · That said, after about 50 rounds with the 2021 Pro V1 it started to seem like a lot of my approach shots were coming in kind of low. The ball spins plenty so they usually held the greens OK but I'm back to missing the higher flight of Pro V1x. So I'm kind of second-guessing my switch to Pro V1 this year. 1.

For the 2019 iteration Titleist put extra emphasis on distance. For 2021 they have not called out any particular area, but, as mentioned above, they have made the most significant improvement to the ball since it's original launch, which is intended to translate into total performance improvements and consistency for every shot. You may or may not ...
Here's the rundown of the changes made to cover, inner layers and core: 1. Reformulated 2.0 ZG Process Cores deliver increased distance in the solid core Pro V1 and dual core Pro V1x. 2. Faster High-Flex Casing Layeradds speed and lowers long game spin. This highly-resilient, high-speed ionomer was initially developed for and validated by Pro V1x L...
While this year's change is big in terms of Titleist touching every piece of the ball including the dimple pattern, in terms of performance it's not a game changer. Yes, it will be a better ball, but don't expect it to shave 10 strokes off your game. USGA rules force manufacturers to make incremental changes to golf ball design and the fairway of i...
The 2021 Pro V1 and Pro V1x first appeared on the PGA Tour at the 2020 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in October at TPC Summerlin. During the 2021 Pro V1 and Pro V1x seeding process early adopters included Justin Thomas (Pro V1x), Adam Scott (Pro V1x), Tony Finau (Pro V1) and Cameron Smith (Pro V1x) to name a few. Cameron Smith became first t...
Titleist says it's right for everybody. If you aren't playing on the PGA Tour (or maybe even if you are) we think you'll do just fine with the 2017 or 2019 model years or even the older models. Our opinion is biased, we don't think you should pay $50/dozen for golf balls, so our recommendation is to always buy used Pro V1's. You'll enjoy the game m...
Jun 2, 2021 · The biggest difference I have found between the 2019 and 2021 Pro V1 is the new dimple design handles the wind better. Ping G430 Max 10K 10.5° driver - Tensei 1K White 50S. May 5, 2021 · The Pro V1 offers a complete combination of speed, spin and feel, and will be the best fit for the majority of golfers. It flies a little lower than the Pro V1x, with a penetrating trajectory and a very soft feel. The Pro V1x has a fast, high flight and provides spin for the golfer at the times where they want it most.

Apr 14, 2021 · About the Titleist Pro V1x. The Titleist Pro V1x is a four-piece, urethane-covered design with 348 dimples. The majority of product sold in the U.S.A. is made at the company’s factory in New Bedford, Mass. However, because of COVID shutdowns and the subsequent high demand, it’s not entirely unheard of to find a box manufactured in Thailand ...
Feb 25, 2021 · With the driver, both golf balls produced very high ball speed and consistent launch conditions. Again, the Pro V1x spun a little more, though the gap was only about 200 RPM for me. The one element that I have not been able to test is the new dimple pattern. Each ball has a new tetrahedral dimple design – 388 on the Pro V1, 348 on the Pro V1x ...
