He was joined by Michael "Spider" Cotterman, formerly the bassist for Kid Dynamite who Hause used to roadie for, and Michael Sneeringer, drummer from Trial by Fire. [1] By July 2004, Hause left Paint It Black to focus on The Loved Ones. [2] The band's first release was a self-released four-song demo in 2004.
May 9, 2006 · Spider: Well the demo songs we always planed on re-recording for a proper release. The songs changed, they got a lot shorter; the demo versions are about four minutes long apiece. Over time we edited them down and we found ways to make them work better, make them a little shorter and punchier.
