Toronto Muddy York is a progressive, ALL-INCLUSIVE rugby club in the Greater Toronto Area providing the sport of rugby to the gay community and their friends. Established in 2003, we primarily compete against teams in the Toronto Rugby Union.
Founded in 2003, Toronto Muddy York is Canada’s oldest inclusive rugby club and is a prominent member of Toronto’s LGBTQ2+ community.
It has been a while since we have marched in the Toronto Pride Parade (throwback to Pride 2019 with the picture above). This year, Pride Toronto is celebrating its 40th Anniversary, and let’s not forget that the first Pride was a protest in response to four downtown bathhouses that were violently raided by the police.
