Veteran Warner Bros. executive Niija Kuykendall has left the Burbank-based studio and joined Netflix in the streamer’s film division. Kuykendall will act as vp of film and oversee a new features group focusing on mid-sized films. She will report to head of film, Scott Stuber, and joins film vps Tendo Nagenda, Ori Marmur, and Kira Goldberg.
Kuykendall’s career is a study in longevity, with a 13-year stint at Warner Bros. where she achieved so much and helped to make some of the biggest movies we know and love today.
