This offseason, former Kentucky women’s basketball forward Nyah Leveretter transferred to Georgia after a four-year stint in Lexington which included an SEC Tournament Championship back in 2022. Unfortunately for Leveretter, her senior season was derailed by an ACL tear she suffered in February of 2023, so Kentucky fans didn’t get to see her last year.

When you have to be up at 4:30 in the morning for practice, you just get up, get out the bed, and hit the door,” Leveretter said. “When I go home on breaks though, my dad and mom make me and my brother make up our beds.” Growing up in a military family has provided the foundation that makes Leveretter the person she is today.
