Hi. I just created an openstreetmap ID, and then tried to associate it with my OpenID (first time use of OpenID) associated with my gmail account. I did confirm the original ID with email, but the OpenID dialog was like a loop -- it wanted me to log in to my regular ID, but my regular ID does the following: On www.openstreetmap.org, click log in

Users can change the display name of their account at any time in the settings. This can be problematic if other users want to keep track of the actions of a user because most of the website and API rely on user names for identification. Using Who's Thatone can find the display names related to a user.

To change your password, Go to your profile's settings (found by going to: https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/yourusername/account) and under the password and confirm password fields, enter in your new password.
Typically there's no need to delete an account on openstreetmap.org. It's no problem to simply leave it lying dormant. Want to remove identifying information? #Renaming the account is easy, as is editing your profile description. If you do want to completely delete your account for some reason: log-in, go to My Settings and use the 'Delete Account....
