The City of Brampton regulates proper disposal of garbage and debris, as well as the proper storage of Peel Region waste carts and other containers, in order to maintain appropriate safety and community standards.
Description of Services: Household hazardous waste can be taken to Peel's Community Recycling Centres (CRC's) for free, safe disposal. Household hazardous waste should not be disposed in the garbage or recycling. Hazardous waste is never collected at the curb.
On your garbage exemption day, you can put unlimited amounts of acceptable garbage on the curb. You don't need garbage tags. Check your collection calendar for your pickup day or sign up to get free weekly waste collection reminders.
