Yuki is my favorite character but again learning her backstory is so refreshing to see. That is my favorite episode by far. The face is was WRITTEN and DIRECTED the episode makes me assume their were high emotional breakthroughs on set due to how it translated on screen. also, you can tell how much Maya loves her mom so much and is so inspired ...
One of the things that I found really interesting about this episode is that you always see Yuki as this refined, sophisticated character and when she parked in the handicap spot and then limped to the store it completely reminded me of Maya and just that awkwardness and seeing something through.
Yuki appreciation post. The way she said "Oh shit!" while trying to merge the two phone calls had me dying. When she put the hair removing cream on Maya and Maya started screaming, Yuki started laughing and then I started laughing. She’s sooo lovable.
