Today, Gross lives in Toronto with his wife, actor Martha Burns, but still has strong ties to Alberta. His parents lived on a farm near Dinosaur Provincial Park until they passed away, his brother still calls Alberta home, and Gross recently built a house on the edge of the Badlands.
