slightly over 30 days ago I contacted the support of playstation and got them to delete my PSN account. I then got an e-mail confirming my request and I was told that it would take 30 days until the deletion progress would be complete.
Consider joining r/PlayStation for your daily dose of memes, screenshots, and other casual discussion. PlayStation Network is currently experiencing widespread outages. AWS is having issues. PSN runs on AWS. That explains discord earlier too, if memory serves... Nope, the memory is actually not serving, which is why they are down.
And at least PlayStation doesn’t lock you out of your games every time you bring your console offline (looking at you Xbox 😒) Edit: I agree on online being required for games being dumb. I guess I was thinking of games like Fortnite where you play against other players, but I guess you can play against bots.

Sep 16, 2022 · Removed all Network connections on PlayStation 5 (Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection > Options button on each LAN and Wi-Fi connection > Forget) Backed up PlayStation 5 to an external hard drive to ensure my Save Data is retained (don't have PS Plus for auto-uploads at the moment) (Settings > System > System Software > Backup and Restore > Backup).

Mar 21, 2024 · Here is the link of the up-to-date status of the PlayStation network. Before it wasn’t saying that it was down but as of about 20 minutes ago, it has acknowledged that everything is down and experiencing issues. According to them, they said they will be coming up with a fix as soon as possible, let’s pray lol
