    On October 5, 1978, Nelvana unveiled its logo. The logo is a white polar bear with black colored edges. Nelvana was Founded in 1971, but it didn't have a logo until 1978. The name came from a Canadian superhero, Nelvana of the Northern Lights.

    A new logo debuted on September 7, 2004, The polar bear was redrawn, with all but one star removed, and the wordmark was changed. This logo continued to be used in tandem with the logo below as a production logo on some shows.

    In October 2016, the logo was changed yet again. The polar bear and star are more stylized, with the text in another font and lowercase letters.
