Located in the produce department, QFC’s small mushroom plot grows morels, shiitakes and other fungal varieties that are then sold in the case just a few feet away. The section also sells packaged mushrooms and mushroom logs for the at-home growers.
When attending the University of Washington and living in the on-campus dorms for Spring 2011 and Autumn 2011 quarters, this QFC in University Village was my most frequented place to pick up groceries off-campus at a good price. It was a walkable distance and had a variety of offerings.
