Dec 26, 2023 · Durham Region councillors approve an increase to the water and sewer rates of 7.4 per cent for 2024 at the Dec. 20 meeting of regional council on a 16-12 vote. Last year’s increase was 4.3 per cent while the increase in 2022 was 1.8 per cent.
