My parents, Jon and Barbara Rogers, founded San Francisco Bay Coffee in 1979. They basically used all of their savings intended for college for their four children to fund the purchase of a small, nearly bankrupt company on 3rd Street in San Francisco. At the time, they had two children already in college with the other two just about to go.

Simply fantastic customer service. Yes! The coffee is wonderful, fresh, aromatic and we love the varieties offered and therefore have subscribed to their sublime coffees for a long time now, but it is the wonderful customer service which also keeps us coming back. After all, our coffee would simply not taste as delicious if that were not the case.
