A year later in April of 1990 Green Day released their first album 39 / Smooth and Billie Joe began booking a tour for that summer. Before leaving on the tour they recorded the four song EP Slappy E.P.. At the end of the 45-day tour Kiffmeyer apparently decided the rock and roll life was not for him and left the band for college.
