Last entry to the garden is at 3:15pm for the month of November. Seattle Japanese Garden is a 3.5 acre urban sanctuary. Winding gravel paths and stone benches invite you to view the garden slowly and mindfully, in all of its detail - rock, water, lanterns, bridges, buildings, plants and animals.
The Seattle Japanese Garden is a unique, Japanese-style stroll garden. Once you enter the gate, you may follow the paths and enjoy the various views expanding in front of you. Generally, off-path areas are for display only.
The Garden is closed to the public on Friday and Saturday and closed to the public if it rains within 24 hours of opening time or during open hours. Please call on the day you wish to visit to make sure the Garden is open. Groups of 15 or more: please call in advance.
