    On 19 May 2024, Robert Pickton was attacked at a maximum-security prison in Quebec. A 51-year-old fellow inmate stabbed Pickton in the head with a broken broom or broom-like handle.     • Pickton Pig Farm. Robert William “Willie” Pickton (born 1949) was raised on a family-operated pig farm in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Pickton and his siblings sold most of the property for urban development, reducing the farm to 6.5 hectares.
