On 19 May 2024, Robert Pickton was attacked at a maximum-security prison in Quebec. A 51-year-old fellow inmate stabbed Pickton in the head with a broken broom or broom-like handle. [2] In 1976, Olson was serving a sentence for his crimes as a con artist and was placed as a cellmate of Gary Francis Marcoux.
