LOA: Early to mid-game GB. It's a fantastic gb up until CA while supply RQ's are valuable (alchemist, clockmaker). You never want to level this GB too much, because at least by CA you want to delete it. By then you should have Himeji producing excess supplies, and unrefined goods aren't worth the space. If you want a fresh perspective, davidb3's guide analyzes every GB until the Progressive Era and, if you have the time, read the spare posts found in the thread itself showing other players' opinions from different standpoints.
You can also indirectly get forge points with the Arc, which is pretty easy to do after level 80, since it boosts all rewards (including fps) that you get when donating to other people's GBs. It's possible to profit fps before level 80, but that takes a bit of luck (finding someone who is self-levelling their GB, for example) and/or sniping, which isn't always considered polite play.

Jun 6, 2023 · This GB is very useful. The top player in my world has this GB, along with countless others across the FoE universe. The LoA is useful in low ages and high ages, and even in the first couple of levels it still provides powerful boosts. This Great Building is long gone - collapsed in 1323 - but it is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Mar 28, 2023 · Now that I've seen your list @Dursland, I suppose I'm going to add what I've always recommended to new(er) players but it may surprise you to know that the Arc is not only not on that list but I strenuously discourage players from trying to take on that monster (or other high-era GBs) until after they've played for about 6 months + established a sound economic balance in their young cities.
