If you're unsure about whether to keep your yearbooks, you should hang onto them. You can always discard them later. But once they're gone, there's no easy way to get them back.
I recommend just keeping one, from your favorite year. My mom kept her yearbook from her senior year of high school, and now that she is gone it means a lot to me to have a glimpse at some of her life. I don’t know how often she looked back on it, but I am immeasurably glad that she kept it.

Mar 5, 2014 · Judging from what appears to be a vibrant market in old yearbooks, obvious from the results of a quick online search, there are lots of people who dump them or lose them, and then want to replace them at some point.
If you have a lot of yearbooks and you want to pare down, I'd suggest maybe keeping one or two of your most important or sentimental ones. A couple yearbooks won't take up much space, but your kids might really appreciate them in the future. They can decide to get rid of them if they don't end up wanting them.
