  1. PROS: You get to kill Loredo - More information about the Sabrina curse - More focus on the kingslayers investigation - the necromancy scene - Dethmold is a cool villain - Ves is a better romance (personal taste) - Roche is a bro - Some interesting characters from books like Zyvik and Pangratt - Little Sisters is an interesting side quest - The Rotfiend Contract is less annoying than the Harpy ...

  2. I agree. In Witcher 2, Roche path, then Iorveth, then Witcher 3. For me, Iorveth's path is the way to go, if you've only time for one. One thing: about midway through the game, if you encounter something called "Malget's notes", translate them and see where things lead from a bygone era. That is all.

  3. Roche seemed... more distracted, more concerned with generally punishing the enemies of Temeria, where Iorveth just wanted Letho, just like me. At the time it felt like a choice between 'paying Roche back' and 'actually getting to the Kingslayer and Triss' so I reluctantly went with Iorveth (even though I hated the Scoia'tel in TW1).

  4. Sep 10, 2014 · So I believe it would be more accurate if you ally with iorveth, with the save game that you're aiming to import on TW3, but like everyone already said, do both. Except I don't think Geralt's one to have unpaid debts to people. As Roche saved your life, and if you do Iorveths path, Roche helps you get into the camp, and then saves your life again.

  5. Nov 16, 2015 · I actually think the Iorveth path is super interesting as a side story of sorts for the canonical story of the games ( no offense Iorveth guys, but the way 3 is structured, Roche is the canon path. ), as it helps you learn a bit more about the books/the setting itself, especially in Act 2.

  6. I've made a short list of arguments for both: Roche + Helped you escape prison/sense of loyalty to stick with him + Roche's primary concern seems to be finding the Kingslayer, so he shares your interests + Appears to be more trustworthy than Iorveth based on what you know Iorveth + More well-informed about the Kingslayers/Roche may understand that you're still keeping your end of the deal ...

  8. Jul 26, 2011 · shivnz: roche, because i just cant actively enjoy fighting for terrorists. i might do it for a laugh, or just to get the different other half of the game experience, but if i was playing for keeps (a save to take over to the next game), or was just playing the game NATURALLY, and making choices on personal ethics and actively roleplaying, it would definately be the roche path.
