Mechanic gives the best money for weapon related things, ragman is best for armor, rig, backpack stuff. Those are the big 3 traders to sell too. I sell diaries, SSDs to fence as he gives good money for it actually lol, but fence is scav king and always give you the least money for things and sell for most expensive.

Skier buys: Attachments, Barrels, Clothing, Armor / Helmets, Bags Mechanic buys: Guns, Hard-modding gun attachments (Stocks, Handguards), Ammo Prapor buys: Grenades, Ammo Fence buys: Anything (generally you only want to sell irreparable armor/helmets/visors to him.)
Better to spend 90k and actually have a good chance than spending 10k and losing every firefight because you cant kill the other player. You really should not go budget on ammo. I had the same thinking when starting out, but after spending the cash and actually seeing players drop after taking one or two bullets made me change my mind.
