Mod Loader Pro, to my knowledge, was a fork of MSCLoader (the first mod loader for the game, to my knowledge) that briefly popped up last year for about three months. It's abandoned now and has not received any updates for over a year (while MSCLoader is still active), so you should avoid using it; this makes it kind of complicated since a few devs developed some Pro-exclusive mods.
If you want to use a launcher that is good for any modloader (Forge, Liteloader, Rift, Fabric) for instance creation, management and applying mods/texurepacks manually like you would with Vanilla or a not as auto-download focus as Twitch but is still good for modpack exportation/importing then go with MultiMC.
When authors submit their mods, they mark which modloader the mod is compatible for, and they might add files to support both modloaders. When you edit a project or create a profile- you should keep in mind the modloader type, so that you only add mods compatible with that modloader!
