There's a compatibility tool on Nexus that nominally lets MSCLoader load Pro-compatible mods, if there's any MLP-exclusive ones you wanna use, although it doesn't work with all of them.
Jul 17, 2022 · No, mods that require modloader pro specifically only run on modloader pro. For a while the ricochet mod only used pro and wouldn't work on regular modloader. It's updated now.

Dec 7, 2021 · MSC Loader Pro has much less mods, but it's the only one that supports MOP. mop breaks the game anyway, its not worth it. Mod Loader + Compatibility References is the way to go. As for MOP, you can just download the 3.2.3 version, and Mod Loader will update it for you when you launch the game.
