So I’ve noticed, a few times actually, on NexusMods that some mods will require either MSCLoader or Mod Loader Pro or even sometimes both. However, what I want to know is does it matter which mod loader you use? Can you use both mod loaders?
MSC Loader Pro has much less mods, but it's the only one that supports MOP. mop breaks the game anyway, its not worth it. Mod Loader + Compatibility References is the way to go. As for MOP, you can just download the 3.2.3 version, and Mod Loader will update it for you when you launch the game.
Yes, most mods have went back to regular Modloader. If you need to run mods which require Pro, just download the Compatibility References Tool from Nexus.
Jul 17, 2022 · No, mods that require modloader pro specifically only run on modloader pro. For a while the ricochet mod only used pro and wouldn't work on regular modloader. It's updated now.
