Shipping to Canada is free when you spend at least $45 – and technically, since the books they sell are mostly publisher overstocks, you might have to deal with minor wear and tear, as well as small bends in the covers or pages.

  4. I've gotten used books from Amazon, Abe Books, and probably some others before. I love the prices but hate paying shipping for each one separately as well as the general nuisance of keeping up with several shipments rather than one. Are there any sites where they somehow collect the desired books and send in one shipment with one shipping price?

Be aware that shipping used books and curriculum in Canada is expensive, and that prices usually start at least $10-20 or more for shipping, unless the item is lightweight and thin and can go lettermail.

  6. I was burnt once before, assuming that the cover was on the book. Luckily, I complained and received a full refund. It taught me to CAREFULLY read the book description. Now before buying, I ask if the jacket cover is on the book. Either way, I won't buy a used book if the cover isn't on it.
