The gear you wear in-game affects your mouse sensitivity, the recoil system is extremely unintuitive and was recently made more difficult, and the movement system is quite clunky and unlike most other FPS games.

Walk when you possibly can, as it makes significantly less noise and doesn't drain stamina. Crouching makes even less noise, but you move much slower.
