Jan 29, 2021 · While we probably wouldn't recommend you go full floor to ceiling on every wall, patterned tiles definitely have a place in small bathroom. Just choose one wall or a splashback or just the floor to add pattern to and keep the rest plain.
Ideally, the tiles should go up to the ceiling, but there are a few factors to consider. If you have any fixtures that protrude from the wall, such as a tub or shower, you will need to leave a gap between the top of the tile and the fixture to allow for movement.
