3. Siddique Ismail (25 March 1955 – 8 August 2023) was an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actor who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. [1][2] He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking (1989). His screenwriting debut came with the Malayalam film Pappan Priyappetta Pappan (1986).
In 2001, Siddique debuted as a director, scriptwriter, and story writer in the Tamil film industry with a drama film titled ‘Friends,’ which was a remake of Siddique’s 1999 Malayalam film of the same title.
