Setup: Place the game board in the center of the playing area. Shuffle the development cards and create three face-up stacks of four cards each. Place the noble tiles face-up on the designated spaces on the board. Place the gemstone tokens in separate piles near the board. Each player receives: 2 prestige point tokens.
Then reveal 4 cards from each level. Shufle the noble tiles and reveal as many of them as there are players plus one (example: 5 tiles for a 4 player game). The remaining tiles are removed from the game; they will not be used during the game. Finally, place the tokens in 6 distinct piles (sort them by color) within reach of the players.

Cards and tiles are worth the number of points indicated by the white number in the top left. Cards with no number printed in the top left are worth zero points.

Jul 25, 2024 · 5. Sort each token by color and put them at the bottom of the table. For 4 players, use all of the tokens. For 3 players, use 5 of each gem type but all of the gold tokens. For 2 players, use 4 of each gem type but all of the gold tokens. [5] Put the gold tokens on the very end of the row of gems to separate them.
