Aug 5, 2019 · However, I don't see any option on the public website to download Splunk Light. Only Enterprise and Free (which is a dumbed down version of Enterprise) are downloadable. When adding the license file in the (trial of the) Enterprise version, I get 'Bad Request - splunk.license: failed to add, stackid=lite maps to invalid gid'.
