The Sponsor a Pet program is handled by The Petfinder Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, to ensure that shelters and rescue groups receive donations in the easiest way possible.     • Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center. It is the largest county shelter in Ohio. They rescue dogs that are abandoned, neglected, and discarded.
    • One of A Kind Pet Rescue. What makes this rescue one of a kind? Well, it’s their no-kill, no time limit policy. Meaning all the animals under their care can stay in the shelter until they find they’re forever home.
    • SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center. SICSA is all about animal welfare and the adoption of companion animals. Upon realizing that stray and homeless pets must be treated better, SICSA was formed.
    • Cleveland Animal Protective League. Just like humans, animals also deserve to have their “happy ever after”. This is what CAPL wants to give to the animals in Northeast Ohio.
  3. The ASPCA Cruelty Recovery Center (CRC) is a permanent facility located in Columbus, Ohio, that provides high-quality, holistic care to animal victims of cruelty, neglect and natural disasters. The CRC’s dedicated team of sheltering, medical and behavior professionals work to prepare rescued dogs and cats for loving, adoptive homes.
