Nov 29, 2015 · Sadly, there are no methods of gifting a Spotify gift card this holiday season in Canada - however there are many ways you can still give the gift of Spotify without dictating your card number! If you also want Spotify Premium, you and your dad can get a Spotify Family subscription.

As mentioned above, it doesn't appear that the system will currently allow you to change your country to Canada if your account is already registered in another country (it assumes since Spotify isn't yet available in Canada you will be creating a new account).
Nov 28, 2018 · Hey @mad1998, and welcome to the community. Hope you're doing great! The ' + tax ' has always been shown for all Spotify accounts, as some places do charge tax. This doesn't mean that you specifically will be charged for tax, but if it does, then that would be your notice. You can learn more about this here.

Dec 3, 2014 · 2015-01-2611:17 PM. @wakehams. The initial press release from Spotify said that Spotify family would be available in every single country that Spotiy is available in. It said every country would be getting it in the "coming weeks". So Canada will likely be getting the family plan sometime in the near future.
